N18BH (cn 5099/5) Built 1967

Seen here in December 1992, Bob Hope is being shuttled back to his Palm Springs home in his 1967 Lockheed L-1329 JetStar 731. N18BH went on to fly for MiG Magic and Jetstar One Llc, Charlotte NC.

  • lol! BUR to PSP huh? lol!@ what is that, maybe 150 Nautical AIR miles, if that?

ha-ha! oh well, when your Bob Hope, i guess driving that far is a bitch. must be nice.......bet that JetStar didn't climb more than 16,000 or so..........

  • A piece of history.

  • look for the Dean Martin roast of Bob with Foster Brooks as his pilot - very funny.

  • Now that's a blast from the past. I've seen Bob's plane at SAN quite a few times. He was good friends with Chargers owner Alex Spanos, and would fly to town to watch a few games from Alex's booth.
