  • The clue is the use of the term "Laodicean church": term from a well-established network who have decided that emerging church is 'Laodicean'. The fact that Driscoll belongs to the 'other' network is enough to damn him and to attract the spiritual health warning. Ironically, what he says implicitly shows up the weakness in the argument of the opposing network: they are already 'Laodicean' themselves.

  • Not sure I see what is false about it. All he is suggesting is that we minister in a culturally relevant way, while standing firmly on the doctrines set forth in the Word. Just curious as to what you see as false.

  • This guy is extremely dangerous in his views. He is so smooth and so clever in how he speaks that many will be sucked into his false views. He, though not alone, is the reason for the demise of the church. What we are hearing from him is the establishment of the Laodicean church
