Is it true all Mac users only read the message?

@shadowmyfeet Exactly . And , years of mistranslations , misinterpretations , editing by The Romans and Anglicans to fit into their own biases , subtle differences in wording between versions and Church Mythology which tends to owe more to Literature ( particularly Paradise Lost and The Divine Comedy better known as Dante`s Inferno , both of which ironically written by men considered heretics by The Church of their time )than The Actual Bible confuse the matter more .

@1993MovieMan I must agree. And even those who have read the book cover-to-cover, well, they often put the wrong perspective. The old testament and new testament are different testaments for a reason. And the enormous content of the bible cannot be understood in one reading at all times, in my view. So it would take many readings of the whole bible to understand a small portion of it. Its no small task, either. The bible is a history and no history is the same from beginning to end.

@shadowmyfeet Precisely , I`m glad to see someone here knows the problem with strict Biblical literalism . Too many Christians as well as too many of my fellow Catholics , I regret to say , just blindly buy into what The Church claims it says rather than reading it cover-to-cover for themselves . I guarantee you , no Biblical literalist has read the book cover-to-cover .

Using atheistic logic . If the bible was more along the lines of Alice in Wonderland does that mean atheists would all start beleiving in God ?
-
Would there be such a thing as an atheist if the bible did not exist ? Atheists have built there whole beleif , non beleif on the bible .

hahahahaha
To most Christians, the Bible is like a software license. Nobody actually reads it. They just scroll down to the bottom and click "I agree."

@2nDoppelganger Yeah, many are like that. Few know what is says, even less than that know much history to fit in and consequently far less people than even those less few even attempt to put passages and chapters into context. Many quote one or two lines, maybe three at the most but even then they do not attempt to explain context of even what they are saying. The bible is many books, some are literal, some allegorical, some a mixture of both, it is not just one text written at one time.
