this is some snippets from a trip on my flight simulator where i raced 3 planes to berlin. the 747 is the fastest followed by the dc 10 and the a380 is the slowest. but i had to overtake the dc10 and 747 on takeoff because i knew they were going to overtake me eventually and i wanted to capture it.
no i flew all 3 planes myself on one computer. i recorded the dc-10 first and then played it back as AI traffic (with an add on) while i followed it and recorded the 747. then i played these to back to myself as AI traffic and chased them in the a380.
i had to get infront of the dc-10 & 747 before a "drag race" that occured @ 16,000 feet. the a380 is slower than the others so to see the others overtake it, i had to be in front of them before all the planes went for a top speed.run.
You landed dc-10 very badly its nose gear is damaged in reality LOL!

heh. i had to use full flaps to avoid ramming the back of the 747 on descent, so my angle of attack was too nose down for a good looking landing.
all my undercarriage including the nose wheel hit the ground simultaneously at a gentle rate of descent and it would not be a damaging event.
i can land a dc10 well, but when i am behind a 747 that has more wing area, i am forced into a configuration that is not what you usually see.
thanks for watching to the end by the way.
