@TheClarinetThief Your comment was "present" tense. I'm a Gator fan buddy and a big Spurrier fan. Spurrier single handedley put Florida on the map, won a bunch of SEC championships and the 1996 National title. Thats not the subject here buddy. Your comment says "without Spurrier the east would lose the SEC CG every year". Not sure how Spurriers Gators of the 90's have anything to do with the SEC East of today?? Spurrier turned the Gators into a powerhouse...no doubt!! Agreed....

@knightguy11 Urban Meyer might not have accepted the job position to a school that had never won the SEC or a national championship... Which is what Florida would have been without Spurrier. There would have been better job offers than that.

@TheClarinetThief Really?? How the heck did Meyer win the east in 06', 08', 09', just wondering?? Florida won the SEC in 2006 and 2008, oh yea they also won the NC both those years. Spurrier has never won the SEC with South Carolina......you do know that right. I"m a Spurrier fan, I just don't agree with your comment.
