And I dont think that Yoda meant that fear, anger, hate, and suffering had to come in that order specifically. They just happened to notice his fear during the "interview". Ani felt fear of the unknown and of leaving his mother, he also felt anger when he found ehr dead, anger turned to hate, and hate turned into him slaughtering a whole village (suffering).

If he didnt fear the death of his mother, he would not have felt hate and suffering. That is why Yoda said he was too old, and attached to his mother. Ofcourse, this is just me trying to make sense of a bad movie.
