  • I've just manage to buy one from eBay and it's just incredible!

  • Very excellent information turnable music to vid!!!

  • these audiophiles can have there rega, or what they call Hi-Fi.

This baby is a beauty. I have the SL 5, but wow the build qualit of the SL 10 looks amazing. a great piece of kit, that is a keeper!

  • Like my grandpap says RCA made a record player without a needle.

  • Try the Ortofon X1-MPC high-output Moving Coil Cartridge and this table will surprise you. This Moving Coil P-mount sounds better than many 1/2 Mount Cartridges out there.

  • wow!!! it's a phase 4 stereo record with the 1st track You only live twice and then My cup runneth over the a man and a woman Is the LP by ronnie aldrich?Lovely

  • Part 2

The width & depth of the turntable is no larger then an LP jacket. The reason it plays upside down/vertical etc. is because the arm (with cartridge) is balanced and the rear of the arm is pulled toward the lid with about a gram of force causing the front to go to the record surface with the same force and gravity is not a factor. The auto speed is determined by LCD's in the platter being blocked by the record. Manual speed selection may be needed on colored (semi transparent) discs.

  • Part. 1

The SL-10 does not have auto track selection. You can only select tracks the way he did it in the video. It does have auto speed select (based on record size). the manual speed is in case you have 10" LP's or 12" 45's etc. The track selector buttons do have two speeds (press harder/go faster) the 45 adapter is built into the platter. There is a small strobe scope on the part that holds the record down. It will play at any angle even upside down as long as it is kept still.

  • I really want to hunt down one of these, my Hitachi HT-L303 turntable is starting to die on me. :( (A linear tracking turntable that is belt drive.)

  • I'm 100% gutted I was out bid on one of these exact models on e-bay. Noce to see one in action though :-)
