Another very simple Tutorial. To be able to open the minecraft.jar with Archive Utility you must be on Mac OS X Version 10.6 or above.

  • IT makes a cpgz file with u can't actually open :/

  • I got the same problem as kellor23 with Lion - it makes a cpgz file instead of actually showing any contents. Help!!!!

    Rename minecraft.jar to minecraft.zip and then use Archive utility

  • @Mrextremeo right click Finder on Dock and find "Go to folder." type in "Library/Application Support/minecraft"
