  • New blades are about $7 - $10 from any hardware store, I bought genuine Victa blades from Bunnings. As this set of videos show, it's takes less than 10 mins, and no grazed knuckles if you have the right tools.

    It's recommended by Victa that you don't turn the mower on the side to do this. I tried doing it through the catcher flap as instructed but was way difficult. It's probably not a big deal for 2 stroke mowers but it's probably best to do it on the opposite side of the carby (as shown above)

  • Thanks,this advice works great but its a real pain in the arse job and for around $25.00 you can get the blades changed at any mower shop and probably save ya knuckles.
