Tobacco Free Florida: Sponge

Lungs are like sponges ... designed to soak up oxygen and pass it along into the bloodstream. But some people use their lungs to soak up something else ... cigarette smoke. Smoke that contains tar, the term used to describe the harmful chemicals found in cigarette smoke, which include nicotine, ammonia, arsenic, cyanide, and carbon monoxide to name a few. In fact, if you could ring out the cancer-producing tar that goes into the lungs of a pack-a-day smoker every year ... it would look like this. It's enough to make you sick, very sick.

@ChicaTheChihuahua i understand their care but there is alot worse things thats killing us besides cigarette smoking. hell you can even roll your own cigarettes without all the poisonous additives. theres factories producing carbon monoxide and other poison into our air supply that is alot worse for you than cigarette smoking.

All im saying is the group of people that will not smoke because of this commercial are part of the uneducated population.

I dont mean it as an insult to anyone who is quitting smoking, but just quitting because of this commercial.

lol ah propaganda. I don't smoke but these kind of commercials only scare the uneducated.

I mean if you really want something dangerous realize that meat causes the release of ammonia that has to be fixed in the liver into urea... Bottom line is, everything is poisonous and just because a video like this shows something that could be considered dangerous doesn't mean that it is.

But it works if you are looking to scare people that don't realize that these types of things happen every day. XD
