also to add to that like most esp they have a floyd rose and wen you change a string or even after a while they bend inward and its a pain.

yes it is. it makes it much easier and quicker to restring and set up etc and you get a better sustain from the through body but you cant do any fancy wammy stuff in solos or dive bombs etc as you have no wammy bar or floyd rose.
