Ezra Levy is one of the last of his kind - a Jew in Iraq. His tale is a quest for lost love, a woman called Daisy whom he last saw Ezra Levy is one of the last of his kind - a Jew in Iraq. His tale is a quest for lost love, a woman called Daisy whom he last saw more than 50 years ago. Clutching a photo of the young, beautiful Daisy, the spry 85-year-old sets off for Israel and a family he has not seen for many years. Once there, Ezra challenges the assumption that in an anti-Semitic world, Jews are better off in Israel than elsewhere.

And 'Al-Jazeera' why did all those Jews "migrate in the 1950s?" Of course you'll never talk about that

Ezra you are a TRUE Iraqi regardless where he goes" he is an Iraqi.'I do not understand after all the suffering of the JEWS in what is called Arab countries you still saying you are an Arab and you know the Arabs will never call you by your name when they mention you to each other they always say the JEW it is their Islamic education of HATRED.What the Muslims did to the Jews they are doing today to the Christians the original people of Iraq as the Jews were.

I find this video really refreshing to see how the old kind of jews think. It follows the diaspora of iraqi jews and tells a story. The video really touches my heart as I can relate to this story with my grandfather. All this arguing about nothing other than nonesense really spoils what should be resepcted as a beautiful story. I think that Iraqis really respect and appreciate the jews for what they did for their country!

She didn't want him in her life after he saved her? That's nasty, I guess Ezra's family were right not to tell him were Daisy was.
