A vote for a third party is a vote that says the two party system sucks.

To those who still support Dr Ron Paul please understand that he is no longer running for President. Bob Barr has gotten the Libertarian Party nomination. He is the candidate not Dr Paul. The Libertarian Party needs to unify behind someone if it is to be invited to the major debates during future elections. bob barr is amazing. i want him to run again in 2012, and maybe find a way to advertise more and get more publicity. many people actually have libertarian beliefs, they just done know about libertarians so they call themselves republicans.

You will get no argument from me on the virtues of Ron Paul. I went to see him speak during the primaries, and I've never seen anyone raise such passion and enthusiasm in a crowd before. You could feel the rEVOLution around you. I walked away feeling energized.

I also saw Mr. Barr speak recently. He made a good speech. His delivery was smooth and his message on target. He answered questions well and was very personable. But I walked away feeling nothing. That sums up the difference in my mind.

Look at both Barr & Root. They were republicans now they are libertarians. Over the last eight years the Republican party has become the party of BIG GOVERNMENT that throws a few bones to the small government ideals. Well we need all the small government and no government people to form a coalition and move the government debate to the smaller is better side.
