i wasn't really into star trek that much i was more of a star wars fan but let me tell you i just saw it last night and this movie was so epic and amazing!!!!

Movie aside, I think this is possibly the greatest trailer ever created. The movie was good, but couldn't live up the the trailer imo.

This is such a bad movie. Snot nose criminals getting their own command, a villain so dumb that he makes Bevies and Butthead look like Steven Hawking, a teacher sleeping with a student does not tolerate otherstudents cheating on a no win test (It's Frank Burns from M.A.S.H.!), a super ship that can't take one tinny ship hitting it but can wipe out 2 armadas & Black holes that suck in everything but spits out ships into the past then just disappear. People actually like this shit?!

You should go and see it you will find out what Star Trek is about. The film is suppose to start from the beginning. There are a few things in it that would only humor Trek fans but JJ Abrams made it for everyone to be able to follow. It's a really great film. The visuals in it are fucking fantastic. JJ did justice to the original series. If you aren't into Sci-fi and only want to see it for the man candy, you won't enjoy it.
