Now, while I understand that you are not personally saying that we, as veterans are damaged goods, it sounded to me like you were saying that to spend the money that the government is budgeting into the over budget is a waste of money and that we should not put it in there. I don't know about anyone else here; however, I personally depend on those funds that the government has kindly allotted to the VA to help me pay for my education and also to pay my bulls while in school.

just currious, Induia Pakistan and China are involved in an arms race the likes of which hasn't been seen since ww2 . Why aren't any of our commie freaks calling them to account as war mongers and war machines , imperialist, etc...?
And I'll answer they question. They aren't dioing so because it's only bad if America does anything to protect itself or project power. When other nations do it it's fine because they kill the people who complain about it. Truly, Americans are idiots.

@MrBlonde5k1 No but all of those incredibly poor countries with an incredibly low amount of short-range ballistic missiles will attack us despite having no means to launch them towards us! We need to send thousands of US troops to stand around in their country to combat terrorism!

@Bloo0969 USA isn't having troops in Israel or Irac because they are a threat..

@Washington0Jefferson Ron Paul may have war policy but the wars are a result of corporations taking over the government. Mr. Paul is advocating government get out of the way. Government is the people and if the people don't stand up to Wall Street and corporate greed, who will?
@kittyeggrolls True. But, we don't even need to cut defense, we need to cut militarism and end the wars. We also need to get rid of the patriot act, and massively cut or eliminate the dept. of homeland security, and ESPECIALLY get rid of the federal reserve and central banking. THEN we'd be sitting pretty in peace!

@FrankJSchneider When the "people in charge" consider the troops to be fungible goods, which they do, it is quite appropriate to call them "damaged goods" once they need help from the VA. It is not this film which is disrespectful but the members of Congress and their puppeteers who have no regard for our vets as fellow human beings.
