The Rescue One CDS is a revolutionizing new Full Body Safety Harness. It eliminates the danger of Suspension Trauma Death by allowing a person to safely lower themselves to the ground after falling from a treestand. If you are unable to recover to a standing position after a fall you can die in as little as 15 minutes. Nothing beats actually getting to the ground. Most hunters are not aware of this danger. This past fall several hunters were found dead suspended in their safety systems after falling out of their treestands. Two in one week in Ohio. One man had 2 cell phones with him. They will not help you. NASA studies have shown that you can passout in as little as 4 minutes while suspended in a full body harness so you do not have much time. The Rescue One CDS was developed by Dr. Norman Wood, Mountaineer Sports LLC, Rt 1 Box 127A, Keyser WV 26726, 877-683-7678. www.mountaineer-sports.com, email - mountaineersports@live.com

  • how can i get one of these? please Pm me thanks!

  • @mitchwood32 Was wondering if you could give me the source of your info for people being found dead every year in a safety harness. I have not heard of one story of a hunter being found dead in a harness.

  • @bandmasterjf I hunt the swamps in Florida....NO RECEPTION. Good luck! We didnt need cells before, we sure as hell dont need em now. No your limits and stay safe in the woods!

  • @bandmasterjf Your tether is going to increase a couple feet when you fall - like I said before - and this means that you are going to experience death soon. Simply, because you forgot your suspension relief strap at home. Even if you brought it- you better have it on your persons because it aint going to do you no good in a fanny pack yards above you.. and you better not drop it while your trying to hook it up. Even if you do get it snapped behind your back ur STILL STUCK IN THE TREE : )

  • @jmiff79

    +1

I never hunt by myself where there is no cell reception.

  • @Damico07

I use the HSS too and wont change, but I can see how letting yourself down would be handy. Especially where you have no cell service or radio.

  • I generally put my harness above my head where my butt will be a bit above the level of my foot platform. I would think that would negate the need for this device. It is well thought out and would be a very usefull tool. Unlike SweetTangerine10 who seems to be a usless tool.

  • Great concept it will save lives and I'm all for it.

  • And bowkillers call themselves "natural predators" bahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaa just let me know when tigers and mountain lion are using all that gadgets to sit in a tree stand with bait and lure to kill an innocent deer for sports.

  • @mitchwood32 very good point.....hahaha....been there you should be able to pull yourself up with one hand haha....either way as long as guys are safe up in treestand wear some kind of vest....
