  • Awesome! Can't wait to try this. I'm addicted to "Gold Rush Alaska" on Discovery channel. But why no "money shot" at the end of this video, showing how much gold you got?

  • @PistolPackingPatriot Not sure why I didn't get a "money shot" for this video. I think it was one of my first and I was pretty new to making movies for YouTube. Good luck in your search for Wisconsin Gold!!!

  • hi were did you get the permits for prospecting i'm haveing a hard time getting one the dnr here in marquette county is giveing me a run around ?

  • @trushooter2u Not sure about Marquette county but around here, we don't need permits for non-motorized prospecting. All I do is sluice and pan around here. You talking dredging?

  • thats awesome i live close to nugget lake park i go there quit often !! pretty cool little place. im planing a trip to black hills this spring !

  • what city is this in?

  • @greywolf54755 I remember reading it was $50 somewhere.. have not seen that was "official"

just Google, WI NR 45.04 General rules.

    (1) State property. 1- a. Rocks, minerals or fossil materials may be collected for noncommercial purposes, such as educational uses and personal collections, by hand or using a hand held rock hammer or similar device in accordance with the terms of a written permit issued by the manager of the property.

    also Google WI PUB-WA 1504

  • @wssdrizzt the link to the pdf does not work and here do you see in that rule that you need a $50 permit on state property? I see where it shows the limits on how much material you can remove but nothing on a $50 permit. I always thought a state park sticker was all you needed for access?
