a GT or Cobra does better because it has a Limited Slip Differential so if you have a v6 buy a ford racing LSD, the 2011 v6 finally come with an LSD

Same shit happen to me with my Mustang but I was going up a steep hill with 2 inches of snow and bald tires with no sand bags : (

Yes, it works amazing but I'd say go with more than 120. This past winter I upped the weight to about 200lbs.

so does it work

hahaha, that ol 89 Mustang came up in back of the yellow one and went by no problem. haha i find that funny. and tho's old cars dont have the traction control.

just remember to keep a slow steady pace. dont hit the throttle to hard to try and speed up.. keep it in a higher gear if you have a manual and keep the traction control on if you have it. I had to drive my 2000 v6 mustang in the snow last year. as long as you stay concentrated. you should be all right. Sold that car now and i have a 02 GT. so this should be interesting this winter.

yeah, good old fox body stangs! I could drive mine in like 3 inches of snow, on level ground...about 1 inch otherwise.
today was a nightmare driving home with my mustang. i got stuck twice because of the snow. i was lucky i had my cellphone. it took me 3 hours to get home, and normally it takes me 20 minutes. i only got the stock tires in my car and they didn't work at all, it feels so useless. thank god i didn;t get into an accident. good luck mustang drivers when on days like this.
