  • gr8 video. I had a question though, can you string a kingpin with acoustic strings and still get signal from the pickups?

  • @metalhaze1982 I guess you are talking about steel strings, and i guess of course you can. But this guitar got an special sound flavor, not like a standart hollowdeep jazz guitar, the acoustic sound of this guitar is very special,is like if you were listening a vintage old radio. Maybe you will get brighter sound if you put acoustic steel strings, but this guitar got ,i dont know how to say in english,a kind of nose sound, nasal sound,in acoustic.

  • @camarasaurus But this sound,in this guitar,is done in purpose. The guitar cames with roundbound strings, but i have changed with flat wound, because i prefer the darkersound, and still got the very unique acoustic sound, like an old radio. But no huge acoustic sound,or fat.

  • Nice playing, man. Axe sounds good, but it's the fingers that count.

  • what kind of amp do you use?

  • @romekdo77 Amp emulation, guitarrig plugin in protools.Line in.Direct input.

  • love the way you finish up !

  • Bravo

    Très beau jeu de guitare

  • Nice playing!! Are you satisfied with this beautifull guitar? I am planning to purchase one excatly like yours. I have tried version with cutaway and two pick-ups in one shop but they didnt have version with one pick-up. I liked her a lot but I think is too "electric" for my taste. If you have some recomendation please tell me. Kind regards, marijan

  • Respect, mon!

  • AT LAST!Curious about 5th Avenue sound(JAZZ guitar!),I have been struggling through YT,but no way!I m sorry but the reviewers are horrible players generally speaking.I can t believe one reviews a JAZZ guitar and plays like a student.Once I heard on Gibson site a sample of L5(the top top),you couldn t believe the butchery it was!On Gibson site!Even if Bireli or Pat Metheny are too busy, they could at least hire guys like you and a few others, real excellent musicians! Thanks, congrats and respect!JL

  • Nice stuff...Thank You!

  • Man, I LOVE!! the tone your getting.

  • i've got the 5th ave kingpin II on its way. I know the newer model has a cutaway.. but i hope the neck still sounds close to this!! great playing
