Can this tool check ABS,suspension and transmission falt codes also OR only check engine light?

@mtechfan If your BMW is OBD2 compliant, You can use the scanner with an adapter cable, connecting from standard 16-pin OBD2 connector to BMW specifik round connector.
Most european and asian cars introduced the 16-pin connector from 2001 (gasolin) and after 2003 (diesel)
