Just a video testing my capture device. Ignore the missing letters in iKlipse and Piggus in the credits, Windows Vista Movie Maker sucks and for some reason cut them out.

I used a Capture Device called EasyCap USB 2.0. I still need to mess around with the settings more for smoother video and better quality.

Note the following:

Do's:
- Use splitters/additional component cords (additional component cords plug into 'Monitor Out' in the back of your TV)
- Make sure you have enough RAM on your computer to record. AVI. renders fastest and takes up most RAM so if you lack RAM, try MPEG.

Don'ts:
- Plug the console straight into the EasyCap, as I said above.. Use splitters or an additional set of component cords for the Monitor Out. If you plug EasyCap straight into the computer, it will most likely turn out like mine, note how it lags when I move the camera fast etc.

- Don't select the wrong region format for your video, if you are recording... Make sure you Select NTSC or PAL in the recording program, otherwise your video won't be displayed properly. (NTSC = American Region, PAL = European, Australian, NZ Region).

If you buy an EasyCap device, just message me if you want additional help.

  • Good times <3

  • Yeah lol xP I have it on PC and Xbox. Or I need now is PS3 haha

  • easy, so can you play a games console on your pc screen? wanna play ps3 using this capture thing. can you get a live feed? safe.

  • Hey with easy cap use pinnucal studio.. thats what i used..but now i got a dazzle

  • The video quality is shit, I made mistakes when I exported the AVI video. Other videos that I am putting up soon should be much better.

  • This was only a test video, the way I have my capture device set up now brings out a lot more better quality video than what it was in this test. Its a lot smoother and clearer.

It just takes a lot of setting up to be able to get it looking nice, some people are just to stupid to figure out how.

It is actually better quality than some other capture cards that you can pick up for $100 dollars off of eBay, I picked this up for only $15.
