Yes I know Phelp´s the best swimmer ever seen, but I stil liking Thorpe,Phelps dont have any strong advedsary, he swims so perfectly that nobody can even follow him. The only hard race for Phelps was the 4x100 freestyle but thanks Lezak (46.o6) he´s gonna get 8 gold medals I dont doubt it.

And abaut the wr that have been smashed what can I said ? I´m sure that if Phelps swims even the 1500 he can smash Hackett with that powerful underwater.

he was such a great swimmer in his day ..phelps is incredible and probably the best of all time but thorpe would b the best 200m of all time he had such a smooth stroke..i usually dont like utube music but that was good ..nice tribute vid

thorpe when he was racing would claim 200m 400m free, phelps would grab butterfly and shorter distances so thorpe was better at his pet events and phelps better at his why all this arguments its like flogging a dead horse
