@tomclaudetom Cencic is a mezzo countertenor. He was a soprano before. E.g. Christofellis is a sopranist or a male soprano, Sabata is an alto or contralto as he sings rather low, but they are all countertenors. Maniaci and Kowalski sing in their natural unbroken voices - soprano and alto, and are so called hormonal or endocrinological castrati, but overall they all approximately can be called countertenors as they sing in the range higher than a tenor.

@tomclaudetom Well, he is a Countertenor as long as he uses falsett and it doesn't matter in which register he sings. People like Michael Maniaci or Jochen Kowalski for examble can't be called Countertenors because they use to sing with their "real" voice.
