Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons: Tribute on Ice - Beggin

To me everything that makes Madcon's version so great is what was originally in Frankie Valli's song.
I have to give kudos to the people who "rip off" old songs, because I would often never have known they existed otherwise. But take away the original song, and all you'll have left is generic rap. It's a testament to the music of that era. Very rarely do we come across great new music anymore.

It seems as if were just yesterday, but it was 34 years ago this past summer...I was 19 years old & went to see my very first concert in Asbury Park, NJ. In concert that summer of July 1974 was Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. I'll never forget the excitement I felt & then experienced as that peerless group literally ran on to the stage to perform that night. What a sound! What a voice (Valli). He still today looks and sounds great, but there is never a time quite like the first.
