@smck2009 Claudia was only identified by her wedding ring, not dental records or DNA or anything substantial. I think they were leaving it open for her to come back

I hated the opening credits. All that represented wealth and glamour in past seasons now has gone. Plus Matthew's return? Really? It would have served a purpose when Claudia was alive.

If seans sole mission was to kill Alexis, why didn't he let her drown.
This episode and the next were two of the most boring ever.

@MrVidiofan Actually, that film was made in '93, long after this episode was shot. Perhaps they used this scene in the film.

Oh right, I forgot that by this season, The Colbys had been cxled, and that's why Jeff & Fallon are back (post Fallon's alien abduction). This might also explain why so many characters from S7 were axed, to make room in the budget for Jeff & Fallon to return.

the title cards for the characters in season 8 were horrid. its a shame that claudia wasnt here to see the return of her ex.

Claudia being present would have been the one reason and one reason alone to bring back Matthew. Otherwise nope he should have stayed "dead"
