No steering Wheel or pedals just a JOYSTICK.! its Drive by Wire.

It seems to me the car would be easier to drive that a conventional car.

Mercedes already implemented this DBW in the SL to demonstrate it's effectiveness.
The concept car shown here is obviously based on the earlier S class of the 90's and showing it's age.
If Airbus can fly their aircraft using joysticks to manipulate pitch, roll and yaw. Then why the hell can't vehicle manufacturers?
Make driving more simpler, get rid of the pedals, the rack and the centre console and replace it with something that requires only a laptop or electrician for servicing/repair.
