Unreal Speed Run Part 2

This is a speed run for Unreal for the PC. I did not do this speed run. I got it from www.speeddemosarchive.com. I got it for your entertainment so please don't accuse me of copyright infringement etc etc.

Also credit to the guy who did the stroll through unreal found at: http://www.archive.org/details/Unreal... I acquired the tactic from sunspire from what he did. Everything else I came up with on my own. This run is much better the first run I submitted for unreal. Much of this is due to new routes and killing the bosses faster. This time around I paid a lot more attention to my health and there are several times I'm in the Red because no health goes to waste. I'd be happy to answer any questions about my tactics. Continuity:
I redid the sunspire when I heard about the ending trick, I replayed the gateway and napali haven to get everything to match up with what I had done previously. I'm pretty sure everything matches up and is legal.

Not at all, if you watch his health and armour bars (bottom left and top left) you can see he takes a fair bit of damage either from himself or enemies.

Yes, with lots of planning and practice you can skip large sections or shorten the distance in many others. Either way, you end up with a run thats as great as this.

I always found Unreal 1 to be quite scary. Every map feels really like an alien's world, you feel trapped, all the creatures are at least 2x taller than you and they seem to move fast in a floaty sort of movement. The maps are dark also, which adds the fear of the "unknown".

@RocmanRaz the main character is a female by default. but you can change it. i for one just keep it on the default as she is meant to be a girl. but people probably change it if they are unsure of their mascilinity. it's just like Quake II, you can play as a man (default), a girl or even a cyborg :)
