This SSTV video in Robot 36 format was transmitted by Richard Garriott onboard the International Space Station. It was received in NJ on Thursday October 16, 2008 at 13:45 UTC on a frequency of 145.800 MHz FM.

The image was decoded using QSSTV software, and shows a view out the ISS window. The audio that follows is of Richard making several two-way audio contacts with Amateur Radio operators in Southeastern Canada and Northeastern United States.

(Try doing THAT on your cellphone!)

Audio recording and image dissection was performed using Linux-based software of my own design. MPEG encoding was performed using MEncoder.
