Wow that is bloody amazing. The first I've heard of it - a water shortage in a wet country, because of lack of pipes/infrastructure! That is serious, but laughable too! Usually it's towns like Los Angeles, Las Vegas and probably Dubai that have this problem. But Dublin! That is so out of category from the other 3 cities mentioned, again laughable. :)

Democracies are dis functioning primarily because of the fact the public is delusion with it and not actively part taking, The only people who do are fringe lobbyist who tend to screw things horribly for everyone.
Its more then just voting.

Thanks for your kind comments guinnesshead. And you're absolutely right about exporting water. If the yanks or the Dutch had as much water as we do they would be exporting it - but not us - oh no. We're short of the stuff god love us.

Yes democracy involves more than just voting. When I was younger I would have vandalised that sign. But not now. I've gotten older and more sensible, (or at least I like to think so). Thanks for commenting!

The other way to raise funds for a billboard of your own, "Brain shortage ". In city council and you state reasons leave a website info.
Then there is the parody cartoonist in a local paper, Who could do a spoof that would be remembered while conveying the message at the same time.
