My Mum's Hate Attack on Belzebuub is Wrong

My mum has made videos about me being in a "cult" and accused Belzebuub Teachings of "mind control". Well I'm here to say that I am not in a "cult" and the things she is saying are false, misleading, out of context and blown way out of proportion - I am just fine, her overreation, misunderstanding and distress is being used as part of a targeted hate campaign against Belzebuub, and I'm responding to get the truth out there.

My mum has tried to control me my whole life, and now she's joined a smear campaign being run by a religious organization to try and get her "little girl" back. The campaign is using totally false and bigoted "dangerous cult" fear-mongering to try and achieve its aim. My mum isn't interested in spirituality herself and says meditation is harmful, and she grossly misunderstands spiritual practice.

I also wanted to add that apparently her reasons I am in a "cult" include that I try to be in the present moment, act calmly, don't like to get into arguments and fights, and do practices of relaxation and meditation?? This includes almost every spiritual group in the entire world including the Buddhists, and Jesus and the disciples! She's also made totally false statements about Belzebuub, which I even think fall under "hate speech" according to YouTube's guidelines.

I just couldn't believe how much my mum has taken out of context, has misunderstood and has just made up.

This is definitely the same mum who has throughout my life tried to control her "little girl", it's just this time it's to do with my spiritual choices. The problem is, I'm all grown up now! I hope my mum can mature in her attitude, as she is spreading distress and histeria to my family and possibly people watching her videos.

It's truly very sad to see a mother do this to her daughter.

What a terrible shame! How could a mother do this to her own daughter. I thought a mother's wish was only for her child's happiness, not a wish to control them or ruin their life? I hope that she can find peace in her heart!

Spirituality isn't to be feared, its to be imbraced, the whole world embraces spirituality, in one way or another. So where does that leave the world?

I just wanted to voice my support for you, I really can't imagine my mum doing something like this, even if I was in a real cult! To go and publicly talk about the details of her daughter's life... It seems like your mum would benefit greatly from some practices of awareness and self-observation, so that she could see those harmful emotions and thoughts that are driving her actions and start breaking free of them. Wish you all the best and hope things will change for you soon.

If your family really tried to understand the spirituality you practice, maybe then they would see how wrong it is to try and force their will upon you. As others have said, it is really sad that you had to make a video to defend your own spiritual choice, and to defend yourself from your own mother's strong point of views and her desire to control you and your life. I hope that she realizes that you are a full grown woman who made choices to lead a spiritual and fulfilling life, that you are actually a happy, strong, free and very capable individual. I've seen a few of the videos which include your mum and how she sees the esoteric school of Belzebuub. It's good to have this video up in response to show the other side of the story.
