You know, the windows version of Tie Fighter could probably be greatly improved by just taking this arrangement, improving the soundfont a bit so it sounds closer to the quality of actual instruments, and then replacing the battle music track from Tie Fighter with the result of that.

These music set is never used in any other Star Wars franchise as far as I know. Personally, I prefer this over prequel soundtracks... maybe just a nostalgia. but still..

Anyway for you to upload the midi you arranged for this? Because I think you could do with a better soundfont, and I'd like to try how it sounds with xmplay. I especially like the part from 9:30 to 11:10.
