"Necktie Party"
Necktie Party Live - "Buried Alive"
Punk Rock - Death Rock - 80's ...
This was just post Bauhaus and Sisters of Mercy...
Skinny Puppy was just starting in Vancouver...
Trent Reznor started NIN a few years later.
Goth wasn't even a word yet...
Emo is still a mystery to me, but I think a lot of bands with that tag are of the same spirit... :)

  • I want to buy this ulbum and a T-shirt of these guys right fucking now!!!!!!!! What happened to them? Where are they now?

  • Thanks. We're all still around.

Talked to the singer about a reunion show this morning.

    Doesn't look promising:)

  • @jacobjeri

I'd love to but I dont think the singer will do it

  • The Band was formed in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in about 1984 and lasted up till the bass Player and guitarist had one two many fist fights. They are scattered round the world now, I know for certain one is a pretty solid film maker in LA and one runs a commercial company in Calgary. They are not as far as I know in touch with one another and so the reunion tour of their six or seven songs (all great mind you is on hold) AX

  • Chris Roberts on Guitar

Geoff Waserman singing and acting possesed

    Marshel Fern On Bass

    Dave on Keyboards

Nick Copus (Drums, Sythetics and samples)

I used to hang out at their house when Deiter Preschl was there,

    bunch of a$-holes HAHAHA<

I remember when Dave stole a pile of lottery tix from his job as cashier at a gas station,

& was busy scratching dozens and dozens of em...

they used to cut speed and other shit in the pot,

barely made it home alive in a borrowed Pontiac Lemans Sports Coupe 1 day,

  • @jeffw3360Yeah i have been in bands your best friend become your worst enemys YOu make life long grudes that you never get over . I know how it goes. Yeah mind boggling that a 24 year old put your band on his jacket lol and you are very welcome .

  • i dare someone to UNLIKE this video ¬¬

it's one of my favourites bands too, and i def have a crush on that singer ;)

  • I'll save you the effort, Brandon.

We never got our shit together enough to record anything other than this cheap demo of one song to get gigs with.

It was pretty volatile, like I said, internally and externally.

You ever been in a band?

It can be a pain in the ass. : )

Anyway... Thank you so much for the approbation.

It boggles my mind because it's been so long since I've heard about anybody making homemade NP fashion statements.

I'll try to get some live, and 4-track recordings uploaded.

  • "Favorite band of all time"???

    Holy shit... Thanks, dude!

And thanks to everyone else that digs this creepy old crap.

I've got some ancient basement recordings... Maybe I'll get around to uploading 'em.

    Cheers.
