This is my favorite part of the movie!

@warwolfii You're absolutely right. What passes for music nowadays is little more than noise pollution.

@BritneyK89 I'm sorry, I must strongly disagree. For those of us old enough to remember what music was, what is being played today is a crude, barbaric mish mash of over-amplified guitars and coarse street language served up by outrageous siliconed bimbos in low-cut outfits. It is nothing more than a lowbred, obscene parody of music. I was sitting with some young guys at work listening to some of this crap the other day and when it ended I said "Hum the melody." They couldn't. There was none.

@JennelleBelle This is so true! I hate when people say that people today don't have talent and bring up people such as Beiber and Lady Gaga. Yes, they're extremely popular, but that doesn't mean that that's the only type of music that people make. Beiber and Gaga are not representative of the state of music today. There is plenty of amazing music out there. The people with the real talent just find it hard to compete in a music industry that has become so commercialized and superficial.

@Jeano1965 I think it's quite a stretch to say that people don't have the same class anymore, especially when you consider the serious ills that existed within American society at the time. People look at these videos and like to romanticize the time period and its people, when life was very far from ideal for a large segment of the American population at that time. However, this type of class and style is certainly no longer popular, although that doesn't mean that it no longer exists.

I love to watch these videos where a woman can sing and you admire the voice "thats entertainment" not like today where if she doesn't appear half naked and dancing erotically its not a show. I like a singer who can sing beautifully without the help of technology and you admire the voice. Clear and beautiful.
