Rayman 2 Tricks

There is some audio desync in this video.

1. Skip the Globox baby text.
2. Skip the Hall of Doors Murfy text (hit A repeatedly).
3. Skip a Purple Lum. The second trick wouldn't be used if you were running the game; it's just a fun little glitch.
4. This can be done with the barrel guy still there.
5. Skip a layer of the sinking tower.
6. Why fight an elite Robo Pirate when you can make other Robo Pirates fight him for you?
7. Not a glitch, just a little-known gameplay mechanic. Hold forward if you don't want to wait in front of that wall.
8. This one's pretty obvious. Don't bother waiting for the platform to come around.
9. This was in my Iron Mountains video as well. The way I executed it here makes it look risky, but it's pretty easy.

I deleted it a while ago because I didn't think there was anything useful in it. Unfortunately, it was only afterward that I realized that it was the only place a certain glitch was documented. I think I'll make a new video of the glitch.

i have this game for n64 and it does not work when the controller pak is in. it only works when it has no controller pak what do i do

I did #9 plenty on the PC and PS2 versions. It is SO fun to trick out the game. You can ride the wall on the side if you do that.

#9 works perfect on the Dreamcast version.

Well, the N64 and the PS2 both have 64 bit processors, but the PS2 runs at about 300MHz and reads off DVDs. The N64 runs at 62.5 MHz and reads off of cartridges. So yeah, the PS2 reigns supreme over the other versions.

Yeah they fixed that bug in the PS2 version. Going into that sends you back to the start of the room rather than just damaging you.
