You just know at 0:15 she's thinking something along the lines of "you son of a..." LOL
Man how I loved that show.

@TastyTacoBoy I think the problem is that these shows were taped and the standard practice then was to "wipe" and reuse the tapes. The early episodes have thus been permanently lost with only clips of some of them left. When the Carol Burnett Show was hacked up and re-run in the '80s as "Carol Burnett and Friends" the "first" season seemed to start around 1973 (the show originally debuted in 1967). Can you believe the short-sighted stupidity of the networks?

@bozo47p They don't put these in reruns for the same reason you never see the first five years of Saturday Night Live. It's so funny that no one would watch the garbage they force on us today.

Please put all the seasons on DVD. I don't understand why they don't. I just saw Tim Conway live and he's still got it too.

It is not just Harvey Korman's ad lib, it Carol's ad lib that cracked me up. She is playing the character of an old krone of a woman, and staying in character that is the most a woman like that laughs.

Carol, Harvey, Tim, Vicki....genius!

He said "chitlins". Pig intestines. :P
the character carol was playing is supposed to be 40 at most. see the original with Davis. it is just that she plays a cold greedy woman who rarely laughs.

@MissDroplette That's right - she's spending too much time trying to make Horace sign that paper to laugh...
