I was speaking to my Grandad (Jimmy's Uncle) just last weekend about the circumstances of him finding Jimmy dead, and he categorically stated that there was no way it was suicide. He is aware that the circumstances would lead to a lot of hypothesis and assumptions, but he was adamant that it was no way suicide. He went to wake Jimmy to get ready to go to his mother's funeral and couldn't wake him, so I think he's in a pretty good position to have an informed opinion on it. RIP Jimmy x

It's not known if it was actual suicide though, some of his closest friends say he was too much of a coward to commit suicide. He died on the day of his mother's funeral. His uncle found him in the house and wouldn't wake up, so he got sent to hospital and died just before his mother's funeral started. The people got told as they were going into the church. It could of been suicide though, his girlfriend got killed in a car crash and all he had left was his mother. Who knows.

like Tony hancock i think his show worked better on radio ?, unique in its day - i read that it was an accidental overdose of sleeping tablets that killed him?.....I know that the singer Morrissey is a massiv e fan !....
