  • Even I too, while being from Hyderabad to Rajahmundry from 'Gautami Express', have seen this train many a times standing at Rajahmundry Station in the morning hours, and sometimes at Vijayawada Railway Station also. For the first time when I saw this train from the front side..., the engine, just because of its colour and shape... was looking like a Cadbury's Eclair chocolate. But anyhow, the train fascinated me. But only mistake I did is... I could not take the photograph of this train.

  • @vprkartik108 :) I think you could have seen Kakinada Vijayawada passenger which also has similar train. They changed only the Chassis but inside the engine is the same old one :)

  • this is aerodynamically shaped,so there will be less drag

  • its a DMU - Diesel multiple unit

  • @patbaby2010 Its a passenger ( slow train) running for short distances between cities, runs at approx 60 km /h maximum. Its more like a local train where lots of people get in & out fast, Hence no doors.

  • hey one day i found this train in vijayawada on platform 3.yhis really looks exciting

  • Why they open the doors? It would be very windy when it runs fast.
