Former Republican Introduces Obama

The person picked to introduce Barack Obama at his victory rally may have been chose to show Obama'ss appeal to Republicans as well as Democrats. JoAnne Syverson was a Republican and says she's proud now to be a Democrat. Syverson is from Eden Prarie, Minnesota and is the mother of an Iraqi war veteran.

That dude is all about being big gov't. He wants the gov't to be involved in every aspect of our lives. From education, healthcare, hell he even wants the federal gov't to winterize 100,000 homes per year. What would you call policies that do that. McCain/Palin support getting gov't out of lives and allow free market to thrive. Obama wants to stifle growth with higher taxes for Business, higher capital gains, and supports Employee free choice act, which is anything but free choice. Nobama 08'

I thought the speech was great. I find it telling that many of the negative responses seem to be written by people who never went to English (or post 4th grade) classes. There is also faulty logic. Why should an instructor for MBA courses in communications -which includes communication strategy (not strategery, Mr. Bush) and business writing not be able to express her opinions? Remember the First Amendment? And Joe, that divisiveness explains our current predicament, does it not?
