On Lake Keowee with the family

On Lake Keowee today with the family. Finally got the boat in the water. We had a good time even thought it was overcast and rained a bit. Also, I am sorry about the wind. It was very windy today. No pipe smoking during the boat ride :(. I did smoke me some Countryside when I got home even though, Navy flake might have been more appropriate. Lake Keowee is located in upstate South Carolina near the Oconee Nuclear Station.

Great lake. Plenty of good times there when I lived by Table Rock State Park. It's lost some of it's charm since "The Cliffs" have went on buying up all the land around it, but still fun on the water. Just on your fun is in somebody's backyard or view. Sorry...kind of hard to see it's surroundings now from what it was. Glad you ya'l had fun and spent time there.

I want to get a boat like yours. Not to small, not to big. Good seating, and good motor. Also couple seats up front like a bowrider would be great. Just like your boat

When I was little we had a tri-hull boat with a 1972 65 HP Evinrude just like yours! This brings back good memories! I sat facing backwards watching that motor many a time. I was about your kids' ages then. Driving it was always a thrill. Thanks for sharing!

@Sniper1968 Very true! I see it everytime we fly over there. Just sad, bud there's at less more places for girls to go do their business now if your driving in the area. Store with bathrooms were rare at one time up in them parts.
