BTW , I never said you should let science become your dogma or your God and its not what it is to me. If at some point there would be a reasonable evidence for a God, or ghosts or any kind of supernatural I would stop being an Atheist. But so far there is no evidence for such thing and no acceptable reason for me to believe it. Also, though I do love Astronomy and Cosmology , I don't revere nature.
Now DANCE !
I love your flow and your intelligence. You seem to think a lot and I love that, even if I don't agree with everything you say. I love your soul!

@CherryBoomstick Look up Laurence Krauss' "A Universe from Nothing" presentation; it's right here on Youtube. It actually makes perfect sense and backs itself with testable evidence that is peer-reviewed and presented by credible scientists; including Richard Dawkins. :) I think you'd enjoy it; it basically gives a (hesitant, as it's based on very-recent discoveries) conclusion as to how the Big Bang happened, and how the right conditions for our Universe came about.

Nothing else has resulted from nothing, so why would the universe start from nothing? This is mostly why I consider myself Agnostic right now, and not full out Atheist. I don't mean to be offensive at all by the way, I'm just actually curious. You're the first atheist I've come upon who seems to give rational arguments, so I'm curious as to what you think. :)

I say this because think about it: there is life on Earth, but it is so extremely fragile that we need the absolute PERFECT conditions to survive. We're a perfect distance away from the sun, we're at a perfect position within our universe, on the perfect planet to be able to survive... so my question to you is: why do you believe that existence started from absolutely nothing? Wouldn't it be odd that life resulted from random and nothing, at that? (continued)

Hey, just stumbled upon your videos. You make awesome points. :)
I'd consider myself Agnostic, leaning towards Christianity, but this was after I started researching science and delving into what scientist's have discovered about our universe. The more I learned the more "religious" I became, I guess you could say... To me, the universe is just more proof that there's something beyond our existence. (continued in next comment...)

There are actual case studies which show that psychic phenomenon is real. Most of them are fake, but I do think there is at least something to it. Also, we have EVPS and video evidences that spirits are real. Well, not spirits exactly but that something science currently doesn't explain exists. There is case of Pam Reynolds which appears to show that consciousness can exist outside of the brain. I think that until we have scientific knowledge on the subject, faith is justifiable to an extent.

There is tons of evidence that ghosts are real..just not scientific evidence. But you don't need scientific evidence to be justified in believing something. For example, no one has any scientific evidence that dreams are real, yet we all believe in dreams. I wouldn't expect anyone with no personal experience with ghosts or the afterlife to believe in such things but some of us have had those experiences and are justified in their beliefs.
