I transferred this from original 16mm movie films from World War II. It not only shows the guncamera footage but also some amateur movies from the 357th Fighter Squadron base in England. All of this footage was shot with little regard to lighting, focus, etc. but it is still fascinating to watch. The films came from the estate of Edward W. Szaniawski, who commanded the 357th until he was taken POW in 1944. He retired as a US Air Force Colonel.
