I talked with someone who was on the rules committee with RobertX in 96. He told me then that Robert was wanting to right the rules to be different than the state election code. He was saying the GOP rules should trump state rules because the GOP was a private club.
Now he is using State rules to force his views. Long time Reps were telling me he has been a pain for years. I was told he was using us. In fact every time he started to speak the 2 guys next to me said his name before he said it.
