I have to say that I am not the right person to answer this question because I learned to play the accordion by a professional teacher. Selflearning-people very often refer to "Palmer Hughes Accordion".... but you better search other videos here, different sources or contact different players who have extended selflearning-experience. I prefer a teacher anyways.

Ich versuche nach Möglichkeit dasThema mit entsprechenden Bildern von Malern oder Fotographen zu verbinden. Komponieren ist für mich wie das Malen eines Bildes - Musizieren wie das Betrachten eines solchen (man will die Absichten und Emotionen des Malers oder Komponisten nachvollziehen). Leider findet man nicht zu allen Themen auch passende und rechtefreie oder zumindest "public-domain"-Bilder.

I knew this song in the earthquake last year in China, quite a good and impressive one. Will God really pity those suffering?

I don't know. But I do know, that any war is waste of people, pain and suffering.... and I do know, that this song is one of the most emotional ones. Personally, I must say that it is one of those songs that I do like most, because of the melody, chords, speed and the "story" behind it, the way the composer was affected, influenced - what is deep emotional background one can hear inside those notes.
