This is the first part of a multi-part series on how to make simple, cheap and effective terrain for your City Fight or urban genre wargames.

In this first part we see my introduction, the materials required (for this first part) and the beginning stages of measuring things out to make our cuts.

Thanks for watching!

  • instead of that wood could you use those stick things that people use in gardens to hold their plants up? please respon because i really want to make one of these

  • @billbob2136 - you sure could. Many of those are coloured bamboo, i'd try not to use those :-)

  • u shouldve have made a balcony rather than a window on the second floor that would been awesome

  • @BigNorwegianBear - i'll be doing some more elaborate buildings soon, these were very simple buildings - balconies always look awesome! Thx for the comments!

  • For another cool way to add a little detail, cut up some paper clips and shove them into the foam core to represent rebar.

  • I like that look ... I didnt use on this these buildings as kids use these at the shop - dont want them poking themselves :D "look mommy, i player 40k and now my hands got red on it" ;p

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! at 7:52 lol

  • @RubbishInRubbishOut thanks man

  • a cool thing might be to use the cut-offs u used for windows to make like planks of wood boarding up the windows (leaving some room for models to look through) might add a more 'used' effect to the building :)

  • "AHH! SHIT!" Loved that part.
