Rule number one in spotting a liar. Never trust anyone who has newpapers shut down or arrests peaceful protestors for dispu5ing their claims because if they had truth on their side they wouldn't need to. Disagree with the Law of Gravity? Fine jump off a tall building. Censorship is only necessary for liars to hide truth.

Cubans under Communism have no right to vote, no right to form a union not controlled by the billionaire Castro family, no right to tell their boss to go to hell and quit their jobs if they don't like working conditions, and get shot to death or tortured in Cuban prisons if they try to escape. How is Cuba different than a slave plantation? How many people want to leave America to go live in Cuba?

@kungfuwhip78 If you could be specific about how communism was a "blind idealistic failure" I'd like to see it. If you could provide evidence of capitalist "success" for the overwhelming majority of people, I'd like to see that too. You are the one that accepts "lovely prose", a worldview based on American exceptionalism, justifying the international crimes, wars, overthrown democracies and dictators propped up by the US to serve their corporate interests, all in the name of "capitalism".

Yeah oh well. History has taught us that communism was nothing but a blind idealistic failure. It failed in every aspect. Since it was lovely prose written on paper magnetic to the poor and desperate mass and eager young college students.
