Soprano Roxana Briban - "Non pianger mia compagna" - Verdi's Don Carlo

The great Romanian soprano Roxana Briban singing "Non pianger mia compagna" from Verdi's Don Carlo, recorded in the year 2000 when in fact she has had her absolute debut in this role. It is very important to mention that this was one of her first artistic tours, immediately after the graduation from the Conservatory of the University of music Bucharest.
This is another artistic moment in the memory of our beloved soprano, who tragically past away last year. She was one of the most beautiful soprano voices ever. Elisabetta was one of her favorite roles that suited her perfectly. Unfortunately she has been singing Don Carlo only at the beginning of her carrier, thereafter she did not have the chance to perform the role, as she always in fact desired. The rendition of the aria is simply stunning...and Roxana's singing is aristocratic. A few days ago on the 28Th of October 2011 she would have turned the age of 40 years.
