Katalepsy - Symphony of Destruction (A Very Shitty Megadeth Cover)

Not only did Russian brutal death metal band Katalepsy make a kick ass cover of Mortician's Rabid, but they also made an absolutely terrible cover of Megadeth's most famous song Symphony of Destruction! One of the worst excuses for a cover that I have ever heard from a band. Even Six Feet Under makes better covers than this!

i like this band, but this song shouldn't be covered by a death metal band...i love death metal, but this song is meant to be a megadeth song and should only be covered by bands that have a similar style. just my opinion Katalepsy and Megadeth are both awsome though

@Domin8r78 Thanks for the props. lol I'm not a huge fan of Megadeth either, but they have a few songs that are awsome. Most I don't care for however. Dave Mustaine never claimed to be a real singer and to this day makes light of it. I don't base how good a song is solely on how many albums it sells. A lot of that is just good marketing. I base it on the fact that, once a song is covered by an array of other artists, that tells you it is pretty epic. Symphony is by far their best.

I've heard a ton of bands who just growl like a wounded grizzly bear to a bunch of noise and not a one of them can sell a million copies of their crap because it sounds like shit. I am pretty sure the original Symphony of destruction sold ten million times more albums than this untalented bunch of high school drop outs which is why they are trying to cover it. I can growl like a grizzly bear to a bunch of noise in the background too.
