@azurenscens My point was that the definition is not simple, which is what you seem to think. Your definition of the word is outdated. Take the recommendation, look it up. Among other things it refers to "people sharing the same culture, history, language, etc.; an ethnic group: we Scots were a bloodthirsty race then." From the OED. Try to aim for being more Doogie Howser than Forrest Gump.

@mrjjking77 thanks for the recommendation, but the word race in itself is very vague, and at times completely arbitrary (look into it, it's not as simply defined as you think it to be). and the question of whether Judaism is a race is constantly argued over. i take the stance that it stands alone as a religion mainly because when people refer to it as a race, it reflects how Nazi Germany saw the Jews, which was as race of people. race labeling usually leads to discrimination
