@The0bvious Ya know, I was JUST saying this last night in a bar here in Chicago. It was a dive sports bar, and someone played "Bloodletting", and the girl I was with and I were lovin' it, singing along, and I said, "I hate that nobody has any idea who Concrete Blonde are beyond their fans back when, nobody today has any clue, and it sucks, but their loss..."

I work at Borders and two teenage girls were looking for '80's influences and asked me about Pat Benetar. I said "To hell with Pat Benetar, you need real shit; you need Concrete Blonde!" They bought the retrospective, and a few weeks later they were hooked and ordered three more from the back catalog!
Bands like Concrete Blonde, the Pixies, Soushi and the Banshees, etc... are incredibly important to pass down to younger generations!
