Cal hits clean and he plays clean. You love to hate him if he is not on your team.....and I am glad he is on the Wild. Everyone wonders why doesn't he fight anyone? Well the answer is why should he....he is not cheap so why? I was at the game WILD vs PENS last night and yeah Clutterbuck was hitting everything in sight ...NO cheap shots NOTHING, but around the 12 min mark of the 3rd the communist Russian Gonchar almost decapitated him and got a 5 min major..and Gonchar just skated away?

Clutterbuck is a very clean player he hits the guys after they get rid of the puck yes he does. But you can take 3 steps for therefore they are not late hits.

Clutterbuck isn't the cleanest hitter you morons, 90% of his hits are late hits along the boards. He leads the NHL in hits year in and year out yet has maybe 1 or 2 highlight real hits all year. Plus he is a garbage player and the fact he plays nearly 16 minutes a night! is partly why the Wild have sucked since Gabby left. Lmao "He can score and make plays" Sean Avery and Steve Ott are better agitators and better players who also aren't afraid to drop the gloves.
